Runaway Apprentices

This is an abstract from CFHS Journal 39 which reads:-

We are indebted to Mr Leslie Douche, Curator of the Royal Institution of Cornwall for permission to publish the following list of apprentices who had run away from their masters in Cornwall. The list has been compiled by Mr Dutch from notices published in newspapers – The Sherborne Mercury, The Exeter Flying Post, The Royal Cornwall Gazette and the West Briton – And covers a period from 1740 to 1856.
